Governors’ Awards

We love to recognise achievements at Wren’s Nest and we are always looking for an opportunity to celebrate with our school community. Sometimes, children at Wren’s Nest go even further above and beyond than could be asked of them. To recognise these exceptional moments, they are presented with a Governors’ Award.

On this page you will find a record of the remarkable young people who have received a Governor’s Award.

We at Wren’s Nest are immensely proud of their accomplishments

The governors wanted to recognise Ivar for stepping out of his comfort zone recently in trying new things and also Callum for being a supportive big brother, too.

Lexi has been given her Governors’ Award in recognition of the courage and determination she has shown whilst undergoing several major operations.

No matter what, Lexi ALWAYS faces everything with a smile!

Alfie has been recognised by the governors for his work outside of school, in which he has trained with St John’s to earn a first aid qualification.

George, Thomas, Hollie and Ava, together with their Nan, have been making Gonks to raise money to support those in Ukraine at this terrible time.
This is our very own Wren’s Nest Gonk who lives in our Main Reception.
Well done all – big hearts helping a great cause.

Taliyah and Ruby organised and ran a school-wide raffle to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Care, even buying the prizes out of their own money.

When out in the community, Kairon, Izzy, Ellis, Rio and Traedon helped prevent a fire developing and causing wide-spread damage by their quick thinking and fast call to 999.
